Lupovit’s Inspiration: Lola’s Rescue Story
Lupovit didn’t start in a corporate conference room; it started on a deserted road country of Georgia. That’s where we found Lola—a defenseless, seven-week-old pit bull puppy fighting for her life after being left for death and helpless by a human.
The hungry, scared, and confused puppy had crossed the road and was nearly hit by a car. Luckily, the car stopped and two kind people found her hiding in the forest. As I looked into her eyes that day, I realized that for a rescued dog, physical rescue is only the first step. True healing requires a long, patient process of rebuilding trust and self-confidence.
Lola became our muse. Seeing her unique resilience and playful nature as she discovered the world through play was the foundation for our trauma-informed toy design concept. We realized that for a dog recovering from trauma, play is not just a pastime—it’s a vital therapeutic tool for rehabilitation.
Today, thanks to the love of a devoted family and the guidance of a canine behaviorist, Lola is the happiest dog in the world. Yet, thousands of dogs like her are still waiting for a chance at healing.
